Dr. Marlaine Jean-Miller attended Hunter College of the City of New York, where she received her undergraduate degree in 2005. She went on to earn her medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta in 2011. Dr. Jean-Miller completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency training at Albany Medical Center in 2015, where she was appointed ObGyn Junior Administrative Chief, and then ObGyn Administrative Chief.

Dr. Jean-Miller received the Albany Medical Center Golden Apple Award, Albany Medical Center ObGyn Department Excellence in Teaching Award, Gold Foundation Humanism in Medicine Award, and Morehouse School of Medicine Auxiliary to the Atlanta Medical Association Scholarship.
