North Carolina became his home where he completed his ObGyn residency at Duke University Medical Center earning Alpha Omega Alpha honors. He completed another year of training as a specialist registrar at Queen Mary’s University Hospital in London, England./p>
Dr. Alvarez moved back to North Carolina and joined Arbor ObGyn in 2003. He and his wife live nearby with their four daughters. Dr. Alvarez’s wife is a professor of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Duke University./p>
