About Max Black:
Originally from just outside of Syracuse, NY, Dr. Max Black grew up knowing he would one day follow in his both his father and grandfather’s footsteps by becoming a third generation physician. He went on to attend University of Pittsburgh as a pre-medical student majoring in biology. After graduating, Dr. Black took the leap to the Caribbean to study at the American University of Antigua College of Medicine. He went on to complete OB/GYN residency, finishing as Administrative Chief Resident, at Rochester General Hospital back in upstate New York, where he received extensive training working with diverse and complex patient populations in all aspects of the field and its subspecialties.
Dr. Black is committed to maintaining a collaborative patient-physician relationship, as well as providing equitable and compassionate care to his patients through all stages of their lives. He provides a full range of general obstetrical and gynecological services.
Dr. Black is happy to be re-locating to the area as he prefers the warmer weather and his family is primarily located in the sunshine state. He is certified in scuba diving and is looking forward to exploring this hobby more. He has a dog, Lola, and he is very passionate about the time he spends with his friends.
