Meghan Malentacchi, MD

Meghan Malentacchi, MD joined the team at Woodland Women’s Health Associates in 2021. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Neurobiology from the University of Connecticut in 2004, and earned her medical degree from University of Connecticut School of Medicine in 2008. Dr. Malentacchi then completed her Obstetrics & Gynecology residency at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in 2012.

Dr. Malentacchi served in the Air Force as an ObGyn until 2016 and worked at Andrews Air Force Base. She cared for active duty military members and their families and helped teach ObGyn residents at Walter Reid Military Medical Center in Washington D.C. Before joining Women’s Health Connecticut, Dr. Malentacchi worked as an ObGyn Staff Physician at Medstar Southern Maryland Hospital Center in Clinton, MD, where she Provided comprehensive out-patient obstetrical and gynecological care including high-risk obstetrics, adolescent care and obstetrical ultrasound, and performed gynecological surgeries including robotic surgeries.

She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is the recipient of numerous awards in Connecticut, including MedStar Top Doctor in 2019. Dr. Malentacchi was born and raised in Connecticut and loves New England and especially the four seasons. She enjoys spending time with her two small boys and family, traveling, and interior design.

Dr. Malentacchi treats patients of all ages in Avon, Hartford, and Glastonbury, and is currently accepting new patients.
