I was able to get an appointment within about 2 weeks. Dr. Song explained my options clearly and I did not feel rushed at all in asking any questions I had.

Clean location. I was asked to come in 15 minutes before appointment. I did. My appointment was at 8:30 I was there at 8:10. I wasn't brought to the exam room until 8:58. My doctor arrived at 9:11. I was finished at 9:18. My appointment lasted 7 minutes including the pap! I felt it was rushed. Thorough but rushed.

About Mia Song, MD

Mia Song, MD, provides compassionate and professional OB/GYN care to women from The Loop in Chicago and Northbrook, Illinois, at The Association for Women’s Health Care.

While Dr. Song provides comprehensive OB/GYN care including pregnancy care, she focuses particularly on contraception and human papillomavirus vaccines. She also provides minimally-invasive gynecologic surgery.

Dr. Song received her undergraduate education from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and went to medical school at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. She went through her internship and residency at Hutzel Hospital of Wayne State University.

She’s currently affiliated with Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Prentice Women’s Hospital and is among the faculty of the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, all of which are in Chicago.

A Phi Beta Kappa member, Dr. Song received class honors while at the University of Michigan, and was also a University of Michigan Alumni Regents Scholar. She has been awarded the Creog Academic Achievement Award and the John Teshima Gynecology Award.
