She started her nursing career at Johns Hopkins Hospital in the pediatric emergency department. She then worked in various areas such as Labor and Delivery/NICU, emergency medicine, and fertility nursing while obtaining her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Frostburg State University in 2017, and then her Master’s of Science in Nursing from Shenandoah University in 2021.
