From there she traveled to New Haven, CT, to pursue her Master’s in Public Health degree from Southern Connecticut State University. After getting her Master’s in Public Health, Nicole achieved her ultimate goal of earning a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Bridgeport in Bridgeport, CT.
Nicole chose a well-rounded path to maximize her experience on her way to earning her MPAS. Her clinical rotations included General Surgery, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, OB/GYN, Cardiothoracic Surgery, and Internal Medicine. Nicole’s multi-faceted approach exemplifies her thirst for knowledge and desire to be the best PA-C possible.
Miss Cornelio has displayed determination and an outstanding work ethic in all that she’s done, including throughout her years as a student. While pursing her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Nicole was a UCONN New England Scholar and earned both a UCONN Psychology Department Award and a UCONN Biology Award.
Since becoming a licensed and certified Physician Assistant, she has prioritized giving her patients the most thorough and comforting care possible while furthering her experience in the medical field.
