The staff at the front desk were very helpful and kind. My wait time was not very long in either the first waiting room or after I moved to the smaller patient room. The nurse or medical assistant who did my intake was wonderful and really put me at ease. Dr. Hook was quick and efficient and made the generally uncomfortable exam more bearable. I am hoping to try for a baby next year and I feel that this practice will keep us safe and healthy.
The MA was very professional, kind and used AIDET, and cared about my comfort. Dr. Hook is amazing, very professional and kind. She shows empathy, listens and explains everything. My comfort and care were both a priority. I am very happy to be in her care.

She is especially a big proponent of patient education. She feels patients should be fully educated so they can make informed decisions about their own health care.
Personal Interests
When not working Dr. Hook likes spending time with her husband and her young daughter. She enjoys cheering for her favorite teams...The Spartans, The Buckeyes and of course our very own Arizona Wildcats. She is an avid reader and especially loves mysteries. She loves to exercise when she can find the time. Balancing work and family is her first priority.
