I was highly satisfied with my experience. My appointment was prompt and well organized, and I did not have to wait long between my ultrasound and seeing Dr. Kuiper. The ultrasound technician was especially compassionate and reassuring when I became emotional after being told I have a small fibroid. I appreciated her kindness during that moment. Dr. Kuiper was very thorough in reviewing and explaining my ultrasound images, answered my questions and reassured me that the fibroid is small and not something I need to worry about at this time. I really appreciate the compassionate and attentive care I received throughout my visit.

Dr. Kuiper graduated from Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in biochemistry in 1992. He received his medical degree from the University of Connecticut School Of Medicine in 1996. In 2000 he completed his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Hartford Hospital where he received numerous awards for teaching and outstanding laparoscopy skills. He joined Hartford Hospital faculty from 2000 through 2002 and received several excellence in teaching awards from UCONN and Dartmouth Schools of Medicine.
He joined the group in 2002 and practices a complete spectrum of women’s health care, from family centered obstetrics to minimally invasive advanced laparoscopy and vaginal surgery. He offers office based endometrial ablation and tubal sterilization. He is highly skilled in Robotic assisted laparoscopic hysterectomy and myomectomy, offering his patients a quicker recovery. Dr. Kuiper is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and has been Board Certified since 2002.
Dr. Kuiper was recently honored as a Top Doc 2017 and as one of Connecticut’s Best Doctors of 2018 by Connecticut Magazine.
