Dr. Rafael’s is incredibly kind and a master at his art he is wonderful everything he said he could do he did and some my face is incredible. My breast are incredible. Every part of everything that I had done is 1000% fabulous. I can’t imagine my life without him. Thank you so much for the whole team in his office from Crystal to Kim to Kelley each and every one of them Denise they’re just wonderful along with Kevin, who collects the funds for surgeries what a sweetheart he is as well I think God I made the right decision by going to the American Institute of plastic surgery with Peter Rafael ❤️
All of the nurses and staff were very nice and answered all my questions. Dr. Raphael himself did amazing on my surgery as well---all my incisions are neat and so are my grafts! The healing instructions made my post op very smooth!

Dr Raphael did a beautiful job removing lip fillers from 19 years ago that had been disfiguring my lips, growing, and making them protrude outwards. The fillers had migrated into my Filtrum area and my lips had grown huge and were badly misshapen when I came in. I couldn’t even smile anymore because the area above my lips had thickened so much, and I had lost my facial expressions. He didn’t hesitate to fix the bad work that someone else had done, and he was able to go in and remove all of it, and sculpt my lips into a smaller, natural looking, beautiful shape, with the stitches very well hidden. You can’t even tell that anything was ever wrong. He also placed in a chin implant and I had some buccal fat removal done at the same time. My face looks really well balanced now and even nicer than before. The recovery wasn’t nearly as painful as I had envisioned, the stitches healed beautifully without any redness or pain. The ones for the lip lift were so well hidden up into the nose that you can’t even tell and the others were inside my mouth and lips and now three months later aren’t even noticeable. Dr Raphael is a phenomenal doctor and amazing person who I have the utmost admiration and respect for. I have had numerous procedures done by him for over 30 years and have been been happy with everything.

Dr. Raphael graduated from the University of Dallas. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. After Dr. Raphael completed his general surgery training at Methodist Medical Center in Dallas, he chose to enhance skills at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Cardiovascular Surgery, in microsurgery research. Upon completion of this training, Dr.Raphael accepted a Fellowship in Plastic Surgery at the University of Illinois/Cook County Hospital, in Chicago, Illinois. Following Dr. Raphael's exceptional training, he entered into private practice specializing in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Plano, Texas.
