A Punch Biopsy is a procedure in which a small round piece of tissue about the size of a pencil eraser is removed using a sharp, hollow, circular instrument. The tissue is then checked under a microscope for signs of disease. A punch biopsy may be used to check for certain types of cancer or skin conditions and changes that may lead to cancer.

She seems to be interested in you a a person not just as a patient. Tells you what she is going to do and what she is doing. Stayed with me a few minutes to be sure I felt ok to leave.
She made me feel very comfortable and it was the first time I saw her. I was very satisfied.
It was an unpleasant issue that was necessary. Nothing against the doctor, it is just an unpleasant procedure.
Dr. Ninia and staff are always friendly and answer all of my questions.
Excellent staff, welcoming and efficient. Dr. Irwin is a fabulous doctor. Awesome bedside manner. She takes care of health issues precisely and cares for her patients. This is extremely comforting when dealing in her type of practice. Dr. Teresa Irwin is the best. So thankful for her expertise and knowledge.
She's always nice and always gives me good advice. I feel very comfortable with her.
Doctor is extremely professional and discusses step by step procedure which make you feel as ease.
Although the situation was difficult and a second doctor required for the biopsy, I was in great pain and discomfort for over 30 minutes. Aside from that, I knew there could be a possibility of requiring a biopsy...but I was not prepared for the possibility on the same day as the consult. Dr. Studer was actually considerate of my time and the need of coming back to the office ...so I appreciate that. Just wish that she or her assistant had contacted me prior to me arriving that day...and seeing the "tools" on the counter.
Always highly satisfied. DR Hernandez called me personally to inform me later about my old file and new images for any changes and concern regarding genetic testing due to my sisters health issues.
Safe, on time and efficient. Good conversation with MD.
Staff was very friendly. Very little waiting for the doctor. Procedure was done very nicely without issue.
Dr. Dean and her staff are always on point and make you feel very comfortable.
Dr. Rothstein is a very attentive, kind, and knowledgeable Doctor. I trust her and she makes the process easier.
I've been going to Dr. Greenberg for 15 years he's so amazing but I must say the overall practice of Northshore OBGYN is just so caring, professional and wonderful. The services they offer are outstanding.
She explained everything to me and spent the time to make sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure.
Promptness and social distance procedures between patients.
Professional, warm, welcoming, quick, simple check in. [Single best thing is...] the speed - in and out in maybe 10 minutes for my biopsy.
