Punch Biopsy of Skin / Tissue

92% Patient Satisfaction based on 20 ratings

A Punch Biopsy is a procedure in which a small round piece of tissue about the size of a pencil eraser is removed using a sharp, hollow, circular instrument. The tissue is then checked under a microscope for signs of disease. A punch biopsy may be used to check for certain types of cancer or skin conditions and changes that may lead to cancer.

Everything explained thoroughly in a compassionate manner. Quickly initiated appointments for next steps.

Dr. Runk has established herself as extremely competent and I have complete confidence in her. I have been her patient for over 13 years and she has done a great job through my cancer and later issues that have come up. She is calm, not overreacting, but wisely doing due-diligence when action is called for.

Kind, efficient, professional people. Dr. Runk listens, answers all questions and is proactive in treatment.

Friendliness of everyone. Detailed explanation.

I was not confident in the decisions made by her nor the assistants. It felt like a guessing game based on asking me two questions rather than research and indepth knowledge on me. This would be collected if asked me questions to rule out some things.
