I appreciated Dr. Patel's thoroughness during my appointment. She took an additional step to ensure my baby was okay after noticing a slightly high heart rate during my ultrasound. She consistently answers all of our questions without rushing through appointments as well.
The doctor was pleasant and professional. However, the lack of pain medication and proper anxiety medication made the appointment excruciating. It’s a shame that the order for anxiety medication was called in last minute, so that an allergy issue couldn’t be resolved and also get a sufficient anxiety medication on board for such a procedure. Additionally, the lack of pain medication for the procedure was abysmal. Surely, there is justification for something stronger than Advil. Dr Patel was very informative during the process, but it was a physically taxing and unpleasant procedure.
I was seen immediately, did not take long to get an appt, good communication from all staff and very thorough.
Dr. Patel spent time to answer questions and listen. She was so respectful of my preferences and showed no judgment.

Dr. Patel enjoys being able to incorporate her background as a nurse in providing compassionate and comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology care. She is passionate about involving each individual in a shared decision-making process regarding their care and promoting education and empowerment. She enjoys both medical and surgical management, with an emphasis on minimally invasive techniques. Dr. Patel is a trained and certified da Vinci robotic and laparoscopic surgeon.
In her spare time, Reena enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as anything outdoors, including swimming, biking, and hiking. She is also an animal lover and an animal rescue advocate!
