Ryan D. Summerall, MD, received his undergraduate degree from the University of Houston in 2004. He began his medical training in England and completed his training at Ross University in 2009. In 2013, Dr. Summerall completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology internship and residency training at Danbury Hospital.
Dr. Summerall is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology, and specializes in obstetrics and gynecology. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is currently a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, and was one of the first gynecologists certified with the Essentials of Minimally Invasive Gynecology exam.
Dr. Summerall decided to pursue a career in women's health because he enjoys building a lifelong relationship with his patients and taking care of their obstetric and gynecologic needs along the way. He has a special interest in promoting sexual health and wellness.
When not working, Dr. Summerall enjoys spending time with his wife, three children, and three dogs. He feels that family is the most important thing in life. He also enjoys woodworking, gardening, and travel.
