I have been seeing Dr. Hakim for many years now. She is thoughtful and thorough, and I never feel rushed and she listens to any and all concerns that I may have and does her best to address them. I would recommend, and have recommended in the past numerous times, Dr. Hakim to anyone.
Met Dr. for the first time, as previous provider within same practice has retired. It's a matter of getting used to someone new who doesn't know my history.

Dr. Hakim took the time to thoroughly go over the procedure with me, making sure I was as comfortable as possible, to the point of stopping the procedure because of the pain it was putting me through. This was my first time meeting her, as my prior OB doctor has just retired from that practice. I was highly impressed.

Special interests include minimally invasive surgery, treatments of infertility and exercise and nutrition in women. She also manages all pregnancies and delivers in the Karmanos Natural Birthing Center at Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital. In her free time she is an avid exerciser. She is married with 2 sons.
