Samantha L. Margulies, MD, FACOG

About Samantha Margulies:

Samantha L. Margulies, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified Obstetrician / Gynecologist and fellowship-trained Urogynecologist.

Dr. Margulies was born and raised in New Jersey. For her higher education, she was accepted out of high school into a dual-degree, B.S./ M.D. program. She earned her bachelor’s degree from St. Bonaventure University, graduating summa cum laude with a major in Biology and minor in Journalism/ Mass Communication. She then matriculated to medical school at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, graduating in 2016 with distinction and as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Her volunteer work during medical school was recognized with the George Washington Award and the President’s Volunteer Service Award.

Dr. Margulies completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Yale New Haven Hospital. She then completed her fellowship in FPMRS/ Urogynecology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2023. During fellowship, she was awarded the Golden Tar Heel Award for dedication to medical student teaching.

Her clinical interests include pelvic organ prolapse, urinary and fecal incontinence, and recurrent urinary tract infections.

Outside of work, Sam enjoys tending to her plants and playing with her dog, Rex.
