The kindness shown throughout the whole appointment was wonderful. It was a personal experience from the intake nurse all the way to the checkout counter. I was made to feel like I'd been coming there for years! There was no judgement at all about my years of not being to a doctor.
Dr. Ruiz listened to me when a doctor at another practice ignored my concerns and did not investigate my abnormal symptoms further. Because of her thoroughness and a true desire to help her patients, we found out that I had uterine polyps causing my symptoms. Dr. Ruiz performed a hysterscopy to remove the polyps and I have never felt better -- physically or mentally-- just by getting clarity about what was going on in my body.
Dr. Ruiz really listened to me and tried to address the problem in the best possible way.
Dr. Ruiz and her team were welcoming. I was brought in and seen promptly, which is huge as I have my own patients to get back to and going to the doctor's is always stressful because I am worrying about being late or having to cancel my patient's appointment last minute. The appointment didn't feel rushed, I felt like a person, not just a number on the EMR.
I got all my questions answered and helpful information. Everyone I encountered made me feel very comfortable and were very communicative. I thought Dr. Ruiz had a fantastic bedside manner.

Staff is always nice and wait time minimal. However, can I kindly suggest one thing? No one wants to see themselves naked, well, at least I don't think. Maybe no mirrors in the patient rooms if possible. Already an uncomfortable type exam, perhaps more comfortable if I did not have to see myself naked.
I was treated with respect and all my concerns were addressed and made me feel at ease.
