Dr. Ruiz was thorough with her examination and explained to me the options I had with my symptoms via the exam.
This is my fourth year coming to Dr. Sara, and I feel very comfortable and well taken care of with her. I'm very happy with the care and attention she provides.

I was nervous to see a new provider because of past negative experiences. My nurse Callie was amazing and helped ease my nerves significantly. She made me feel like a person instead of just a patient, and I felt so cared for. Dr. Ruiz was thorough and offered many ideas about what we could rule out and test. Both my nurse and doctor felt un-rushed, which was the exact opposite of my previous OB. In the past, I have felt like not being able to get pregnant made OB offices not know what to do with me, and I felt so out of place. It was the exact opposite at Highlands, which exceeded my expectations.
Dr. Ruiz is so kind, calm, and cheerful. She is more than competent as a physician and her demeanor puts you at ease. She genuinely cares about the patient and giving you the care that you need.
