About Sarah Manneh:
“As a physician, I value the opportunity to develop relationships with my patients over time and across the generations. I am grateful for the privilege I have in guiding women to making healthcare decisions.”
The catalyst that drew me to the practice of obstetrics and gynecology was my passion for caring for women in all stages and phases of their lives. I truly enjoy helping women feel empowered by giving them the knowledge that they need to make important health care decisions for themselves, their babies while pregnant, and sometimes for their other family members. When patients come to see me, it is the conversations we have together and their individual stories that guide me in providing the care and education they need. Some of the most rewarding experiences I have had in the years I have been in practice is the ability to take care of generations of women in the same family. It is those relationships that make my job incredibly special.
In my free time, I spend as much of it as I can with my family. We are diverse as families come. My husband is from Gambia, West Africa and I am from the Philippines. We have an amazing and very busy teenage daughter and she is the light of our lives.
I am passionate about encouraging physical and emotional wellness. I do heated Vinyasa Yoga and Yoga Sculpt 5-6 days a week at Core Power Yoga in Maple Grove. I see many of my patients there and love that we can be in the studio practicing together. I also enjoy running and have been fortunate enough to finish 3 half marathons and several 5 and 10Ks.
When I am travelling, you will find me at my favorite beach locations in Mexico, Dominican Republic, or Hawaii. I must guiltily admit I am happiest when it is 80 degrees!
