Dr. Peterson graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, then went on to earn her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine in 2007 from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. Dr. Peterson joined Women's Health Group in 2011, shortly after the completion of her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut, where she was honored with an award for Excellence in Patient Care. She became certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2015 and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Dr. Peterson is dedicated to providing personalized, compassionate whole-patient care for women of all ages, specializing in up-to-date treatments for all aspects of women's health.
