I went in for a skin graft but it was decided at my appointment that my incision site was healing very well and a graft was no longer needed. I was so happy to not have to have another procedure or scar site. They were able to pull up a picture over my current wound site to compare which was pretty cool and we were able to see very clearly how much I had progressed.
People were pleasant and I was happy with the outcome of the surgery. [Single best thing is...] the care, and the time they spent with me.
The doctor explained what he was going to do, how he was going to do it, and discussed recovery. The post op follow up has been very good with frequent and thorough appointments. The staff is highly skilled and very personable, helping put my family and I at ease.
HE DID A GREAT JOB. THIS WAS NOT THE FIRST WOUND SKIN GRAFT HE HAS PERFORMED.
Dr. Johnson has exhibited a very quiet approach in the hospital & his office. All of his staff have been very kind & helpful. My skin graft has healed & looks very good. With all that Dr. Johnson has worked with multiple Drs. on my case. He treats me like I'm his only patient. My case started in Nov 2018 & has continued the current time. There is nothing negative to say. My skin graft has healed very well. It continues to heal and blend with my skin. The donor site is over 50% healed.
Fast and efficient, cheerful staff and good recovery. [Single best thing is...] Knowledge of staff and accommodations made, i.e.; shortening my fiberglass splint when it was too large to be comfortable.
I had a pre-conference explaining all the possible procedures depending on the extent of the cancer surgery. The day of, the staff and the doctor could not have been nicer to me and to the two people who accompanied me. The surgery went well. I had several follow-up appointments and given salve to work on the scars and everything is fine.
[Highly satisfied] because he did what he said was going to be done and is very good at it.
Dr. Johnson explained to me in plain terms that my husband's wound was too big to close, ultimately needing a skin graft while he was in the trauma ICU. Dr. Johnson and team explained clearly and precisely on the timeline and wound care that led up to the skin graft a few months later. When my husband was finally ready to get his skin graft done, they walked me through the process and aftercare that would need to be taken by the hospital staff. They answered all my questions and I could not have felt more comfortable with leaving my husband in Dr. Johnson & his teams' care. And believe me, we've seen so many different doctors over the last 4 months...Dr. Johnson definitely makes the top of my list!
Seriously, I’d be highly satisfied if I didn’t have to have the surgery. Dr. Johnson has done a fantastic job trying to repair my issue.
Pause followed up with me I had to get staples and then I had to go back to the hospital had to go back and get the graft done on the 6th of March and now it's recovered 95% just had a little slight
