Great clinician.
Dr. Suba was fantastic. He was very detailed and explained it to me in a way that was easy to understand. I have medical anxiety and Dr.Suba has a way of communicating and talking, that was able to keep my anxiety at bay. Dr.Suba was very kind and compassionate. I have medical anxiety, and he immediately put me at ease. He took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. I truly appreciated his patience and care, and I would definitely see him again and recommend him to others.

Dr. Suba didn't act like he was in a hurry to get me in and out. We talked… got to know a little about each other. He listened intently to my concerns and asked a lot of follow-up questions. When I left, I felt as if I had truly been heard. Intake nurse was amazing too. From the front desk to checkout, it was an A+++ experience.

Always love the office staff and Dr Suba. He has been my doctor for over 24 years.
Dr. Suba was 5 stars, very kind, warm informative and I highly recommend. He was able to assist me and humor me while dealing with a delicate diagnosis. Some of the staff require a bit more training. The lady who did the sonogram continuously communicated her struggles to see items and wasn't communicative at all while taking various pictures of what she was doing etc. That caused me to doubt her, a general feel of lack of confidence in her abilities that has caused me to want additional screenings. A nurse was trying to bring me comfort while sharing her own struggles but again not very communicative to my concern or provide info. I understand the Doctor is where majority of the communication is received but this is why I didn't give 5 stars. The staff needs a bit more training in sensitive items along with a script perhaps they can speak from until you see the doctor. Overall I recommend this doctor and his team, they are all very kind.

Dr. Steven Suba graduated from Texas Tech University School of Medicine, where he also began a residency in obstetrics and gynecology. After completing his residency at John Peters Smith in Fort Worth, Dr. Suba opened the first Ob-Gyn office on the Harris Southwest campus in 1988.
Dr. Suba is the medical director of Robotics and Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Texas Health Southwest. He continues to provide routine annual well-woman visits, counseling on choosing contraception for both routine and at-risk obstetrics, as well as the treatment of menopausal symptoms warranting hormone therapy.
