She then went on to medical school at the University of Cincinnati and stayed in the Cincinnati area for residency training at TriHealth hospitals, where she was awarded “Best Overall Resident”. Dr. Maredia practiced full-scope OB/GYN care at both the University of Texas-Houston and Duke University prior to joining Triangle Physicians for Women. She moved to the Cary area a few years ago to be closer to her family who live nearby.
Dr. Maredia takes great pride in being able care for women, especially through their most vulnerable stages of life, whether that be starting the first period as an adolescent, navigating pregnancy and childbirth, or experiencing the menopausal transition. She employs both medical and surgical approaches to treatment with a focus on robotic and minimally invasive surgeries, infertility diagnosis and management, contraceptive care, and menopause therapies. She strives to make patients feel comfortable, listen thoroughly and to create a safe environment to discuss issues while finding the best, individualized treatment plan for each patient. She has a particular interest in caring for patients with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), infertility and abnormal uterine bleeding.
Outside of work, Dr. Maredia enjoys cooking, biking, running and playing pickleball. She loves to spend time with her daughter and dog, Max!
