Tara Winkelmann, MD

About Tara Winkelmann:

Tara Winkelmann, M.D. grew up in Brenham, Texas where the majority of her family still lives. She graduated with a B.S. degree from Davidson College in North Carolina with a major in Biology and minor in Feminist Politics and Medical Humanities.

She then attended the University of Texas School of Public Health in Houston and obtained her M.D. from the University of Texas Health Science Center – San Antonio. She completed residency at St. Joseph Medical Center/Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Winkelmann finds pride and satisfaction in the connections and relationships she develops with her patients in both life’s milestones and the continuum of health.

Dr. Winkelmann enjoys being an active constituent of The Woodlands community. She adores spending time with her daughter, traveling, and seeing her current and previous patients out and about at activities, events, and the nearest parks in The Woodlands.
