Teri has practiced as a certified women’s health nurse practitioner since 1996. She graduated as an RN in 1983, received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1988, and completed the women’s health nurse practitioner program at Emory University in Atlanta in 1996. She has practiced at A Woman’s View since 2003.
Her special interests include well-woman healthcare, contraceptive counseling, evaluation and management of abnormal pap smears, abnormal uterine bleeding, peri-menopause and menopause.
Teri lives in Granite Falls with her husband, Tim, who is a purchasing agent at Snyder Paper Corporation. Their adult twins are out of the home, and Teri and Tim are enjoying their “empty nest.” Their daughter, Lauren, is a dental hygienist in Charlotte, while their son, Lindsey, is a paramedic employed with Catawba County.
Teri is an active member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church-MS in Hickory. She attends bible study and sings with Random Calling, the praise team in the contemporary worship service. In her spare time, she enjoys crafting, cycling with her husband and spending time with her extended family.
