Yanshu Cheng, MD, is amazing. She performed my C-section with Dr. Allan Cheng. Everything went very well, and I felt very well supported and cared for. Both of them listened to my concerns and made me feel secure.
Dr. Cheng is great. Very kind, personable and good bedside manner.
Every member of the staff that was apart of the team for my procedure was amazing. Whether it was answering any questions I had or just providing me comfort when I was feeling a little anxious. When it was time to roll me back I wasn't nervous and had full confidence in the team that would be taking care of me.
Dr. Cheng is always very thorough.
Immediately provided me with answers, with blood tests to back up her suspicions and clear up misconceptions for me.
Excellent bed side manner.

After medical school, I trained at Methodist Dallas Medical Center, a busy downtown medical complex located in the DFW metroplex. There, I encountered a high volume of patients and received the full scope of obstetrics and gynecology. I am comfortable in managing a wide variety of obstetric patients, including high risk conditions such as diabetes and hypertension. I am also experienced in treating an array of gynecologic conditions including abnormal uterine bleeding, endometriosis, and fibroids and am skilled in different types of hysterectomies (vaginal, abdominal, laparoscopic) and am able to offer robotic-assisted procedures.
I love getting to know my patients and working together with them through their medical journey and its impact on different stages of their lives. My goals is to not only provide individual based care but to give my patients an active role in their health.
In my spare time, I love hanging out with my husband, our new baby, and our two cats. My hobbies include traveling, trying new restaurants, and catching up on the latest movies and TV shows.
