Dr. Aronovich is an amazing doctor, showing tremendous care and understanding with me as a patient.
I was highly satisfied with all staff; however, there was some confusion leading up to and during my appointment which caused some stress. A nurse called about 45 minutes prior to my scheduled appt and informed me that a growth scan (ultrasound) would need to be completed that day before seeing the doctor. I had appts to see the doctor (to discuss risks of VBAC) and then get a routine visit with my midwife. Upon arrival I was informed I would not be seeing the midwife as planned, but only seeing the doctor. Typically this would not be a big ordeal; however, I had questions prepared for the midwife and it just rattled me a little after having already been contacted about having an additional ultrasound. During my ultrasound I asked the technician about when to schedule my 3D ultrasound and was surprised to find out that I was past the window (26-30 weeks) to receive that and get decent photos. This was very upsetting as I had made a point to ask about this at every visit because I did not want to miss that important ultrasound. Ways to resolve: have more communication between staff so that staff are aware of scheduling procedures whether its for growth scans, scheduling doctor and midwife appts in one day, or making patients aware of important dates (3D ultrasound timeline).
