Dr. Kruger and staffare committed to patient physical and emotional well being before and after the planned surgery.
I think I've covered this already. He is abrupt, rude at times and rushed. Example - When the doctor visited me the day after the surgery in the hospital, he asked right away if my legs were "good". I was shocked. Nothing felt good, certainly not my legs. I had just had lumbar fusion surgery and could hardly move in bed never mind walk without a nurse to hold on to. I didn't know what to say. I stumbled nervously and said I cant tell if my legs are better cuz everything hurt so much. He asked again, "Are your legs good?" I looked at him as if he was out of his mind and answered the best I could. Nothing was good. Then he asked again, the same question, "Are your legs good?" I said no, they don't seem to feel good at all. I was confused because he had told me prior to the surgery that it would take up to a year for my legs to be better. Then the day after surgery he kept asking me over and over if my legs were better.
Took away all the horrible pain I had before the procedure. I'm now pain free
Follow up tests and appointment set up quickly. Understands my needs and concerns. Previously fused my lumbar spine with excellent outcome. Understands my strong desire to remain functional and mobile at my age and willingness to tolerate some residual pain.
he is very experienced tells you the way it is does not sugar coat anything no b, s. i like that in a dr all drs should be that way being over lol the surgery seems to be showing results now
i'm not back to normal after 3 surgeries on my back. i can't function as i used to. i've given up working as an electrician.
Despite an initial setback due to a bug (flu?), there is progress in my recovery.
Very understanding and down to earth. Made me feel comfortable about upcoming surgery.
Dr. Kruger is a very good surgeon, he made me feel there was hope for a better day. Sometimes I don't get all of his jokes, but he does try to make you comfortable, during a difficult time. Looking at the ex-ray showing the results of the surgery, I can only say this doctor knows his stuff!
