Alison grew up in the suburbs of southeast Michigan and went to Grand Valley State University for her undergraduate degree, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. After graduation, she worked as a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery at Hutzel Hospital and Trinity Health Ann Arbor. Alison went back to graduate school at Baylor University where she graduated with her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in Midwifery.

Alison has a passion for women’s health, with special interests in contraceptive counseling, family planning, and pregnancy care. She enjoys taking time with her patients to listen to their concerns, provide education, and advocate for their well-being.

In her free time, Alison enjoys traveling with her husband and baby boy, especially to Disney and Aruba. She also loves cooking, baking (her current favorite is sourdough!), and reading.
