Dr. Cannon is the greatest.
I went in feeling sort of gross/ashamed but quickly calmed and realized it was a good situation. The nurse/tech, Cheyenne, was sweet. Dr. Rush was funny and smart as a whip- she put me at ease and really normalized everything. Her explanations were comprehensive. I appreciated that she didn't make me feel rushed (do people always make puns about her name?). It felt like she genuinely wanted to make sure all my questions were answered, which is such a plus in this time-constrained era.
The exam was thorough and quick.
Dr. Frost, the MA and ultrasound tech were all fantastic! I've never had an IUD before and was definitely nervous for the insertion. They made sure I was 100% aware of everything going on the entire time and made my comfort their priority!
I really like the doctor. I don't like being at the doctor's office but if I have to go she makes it not horrible. I appreciate that.
