I've seen Dr. Breakstone for about 30 years. She is the best doctor I've ever had, she's easy to talk to and goes out of her way for her patients. I will miss her terribly.
The wait time was short and the PA who checked me in was so friendly! My blood pressure was extremely high and she helped me relax. Dr. Breakstone is wonderful and gentle! Unfortunately, she will be retiring before my next visit so this was the last time with her. :( Dr. Breakstone is the best Gynecologist I have had so far and I am 71 so I've had several.

Dr. Breakstone entered medicine with the intent of bringing change to women’s healthcare. She is delighted to be a part of the change that women, as a community, have accomplished. She is in main contact with consumer advocacy groups, while providing patients with the means to attain their individualized health goals.
As treatment options change rapidly, she enjoys the opportunity to continuously learn more and offer women cutting edge surgical and medical interventions. Dr. Breakstone enjoys speaking on statewide Nutmeg TV as part of the "Hotflash" series to educate a wider audience on a range of women's healthcare topics, such as menopause, genetic counseling, and adolescent gynecology.
Dr. Breakstone currently resides in Bristol with her husband where they raised three children. She enjoys international travel, and is working to integrate this with international women's health efforts. In 2010, she traveled to Haiti to work with the Haitian Health Foundation, an organization she continues to support.
