Dr. Basso has always enjoyed studying and challenging herself to perform at her best. Her pursuit for academic excellence resulted on her achievement of being the Valedictorian graduate from her Medical School in Brazil, where she is from. She completed 2 residencies in OBGYN at the following institutions: Federal University of Parana and West Virginia University. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to take care of growing families and women from all over the world! She is always open to innovation and has been certified to perform Robotic GYN surgery since 2009. She loves to enjoy her free time by frequenting the many cultural venues in Hampton Roads and watching her son Marco participating in all of his many hobbies.
