The whole off was super warm and friendly. They were a great help as a first time patient. Dr. Rutherford answered all of my questions with alternatives if possible and was super attentive and caring. Dr. Rutherford was incredible and as a first time patient, that meant everything to Mel she asked all the right questions and answered every one of my questions in a manner which I was able to understand. She also provided options and alternatives if possible. The entire visit from start to finish was a positive one.

This visit was with a new (to me) doctor. She was very nice and discussed everything with me. She is very knowledgeable and helpful. Going to this type of exam is uncomfortable, but she made it go quickly. She answered all of my questions and is helping me with my hormone changes. I appreciate her taking the time to explain and listen. That's hard to find!

I really enjoyed my ultrasound technician, but I felt some people could have been more personable.
I didn't feel the doctor had looked at my chart to see why I was actually there. The previous doctor was monitoring a cyst with intravaginal ultrasound. When I scheduled appointment, I included that but it was not done.

Dr. Rutherford earned her Medical Degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School before returning to Central Florida to complete her OB/GYN residency at Winnie Palmer Hospital. Her training has provided her with a strong foundation in comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, and she is dedicated to creating a comfortable, supportive environment where patients feel heard, respected, and confident in their care.
