My passion for women’s health began in 2000 when I had the opportunity to witness my first of many births. I was amazed at the power and strength of the female body and the absolute miracle of birth. I also remember thinking that the nurse in the room had the best job ever! Shortly thereafter I began my nursing career in labor and delivery. To this day I never tire of listening to a woman’s birth experience or hearing a newborn’s first cry.

The nurses at Midwives at oakdale are also so personable and sweet. They make appointments that can sometimes be very uncomfortable more comfortable for me.

The nurse midwife was so friendly and took time to thoughtfully answer my questions. There was a new nurse practitioner training with her who was equally as friendly and patient. You have such a good team! Thank you!

After spending more than a dozen years as a labor and delivery nurse, I knew that I wanted to expand my skills past the delivery room and work with women throughout the life spectrum. Many women tend to put the needs of others above their own and I want to make sure that when a woman comes to see me she feels supported and knows that her concerns and health are a priority. I am interested in partnering with women as they transition through the various life stages to help them achieve their best health. From working with adolescents all the way up to the years post-menopause, I strive to provide comprehensive and holistic care with an emphasis on building strong and trusting relationships with my patients. My interests include general ObGyn care, infertility, management of heavy periods, functional medicine and nutrition.
Outside of the clinic I enjoy spending time with my husband and 4 children. You will most likely find me at a soccer field, tennis court or dance studio cheering them on. I also love reading a good book and my dream house would include a personal library!
