I was very happy with the appointment, but there was an issue with my birth control refill 3 weeks before the appointment. That was frustrating and difficult; I nearly was left without an oral contraceptive for almost a month, which would have resulted in serious pain and heavy bleeding (given my PCOS/PMOS and endometriosis diagnoses) in those three weeks between my scheduled refill and my annual exam. That issue aside, the appointment was smooth and Dr. Hersch’s care was excellent as always.
Dr. Camilla Hersh is a great doctor and she is always pleasant to talk to. She provides advice and she is very personal, I have been seeing Dr. Hersh for the last 20 years.

Dr. Hersh received her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science from the University of Michigan and her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Michigan Medical School. Her internship and OBGYN residency were completed at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan, an affiliate of the University of Michigan.
Dr. Hersh is a Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the National Board of Medical Examiners. She is also a Fellow of the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the Christian Medical and Dental Society. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Georgetown University Medical School.
Dr. Hersh has been in private practice since 1984 and the owner of Virginia Women’s Health since its inception in 1992. Dr. Hersh is married and has three children
