Dr. Hersh and her nurse, Christine are amazing providers. Always excellent care and follow up. They listen, are knowledgeable, down to earth and empathetic. They tell you the truth and are very thorough in explanations and treatment.

Receptionist patience and flexibility with helping me filli in so many forms as a first time patient. I'm mistakenly, did not bring my I.D nora my insurance cards. I also failed to bring my list of medications. She allowed me to bring All of the above at a later time, in the day before, I close a business. After I had completed the forms.I did not have a long wait until the nurse called me in\nFilled me in on my expect.\nAnd check my vitals. Dr. Hersh Came in soon thereafter And I found her To be very efficient and very friendly. She asked me several routine and personal questions.Which, of course were relevant to my visit?\nFor a wellness exam and a pap smear. She even performed the pap smear while she was asking me and I was responding to other questions.So I barely noticed that she was doing so. She complimented me on my health and made a joke.\n In which?\n She told me that if all her patients were as healthy as me. She would be out of a job. She\nDid not rush me\nBut was as brief as was understandable.\nGiven the amount of patients In the waiting room. It was over all An\n Excellent first experience. Was it clearly competent physician. All my expectations, having carefully read on internet her qualifications and length Of time in practice. I'm looking forward to seeing the doctor again on the date of my next appointment.

Dr. Hersh received her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science from the University of Michigan and her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Michigan Medical School. Her internship and OBGYN residency were completed at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan, an affiliate of the University of Michigan.
Dr. Hersh is a Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the National Board of Medical Examiners. She is also a Fellow of the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the Christian Medical and Dental Society. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Georgetown University Medical School.
Dr. Hersh has been in private practice since 1984 and the owner of Virginia Women’s Health since its inception in 1992. Dr. Hersh is married and has three children
