Dr. Hersh received her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science from the University of Michigan and her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Michigan Medical School. Her internship and OBGYN residency were completed at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan, an affiliate of the University of Michigan. Dr. Hersh is a Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the National Board of Medical Examiners. She is also a Fellow of the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the Christian Medical and Dental Society. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Georgetown University Medical School. Dr. Hersh has been in private practice since 1984 and the owner of Virginia Women’s Health since its inception in 1992.
