I have been seeing Dr. Gonima for over 10 years now, and I have always had a great experience with the staff and the office visits.
Everyone is nice and welcoming such as the staff and the waiting area. The doctor was attentive and caring.
The DR and his staff are always on time and listen to any and all concerns I might have. He gives straightforward answers and provides advice and suggestions on how to make myself more comfortable during my pregnancy. He is one of the most kindest and knowledgeable Drs I have seen. I will definitely return to him for all my OBGYN needs once my baby is delivered.

My appointment was @310 I left there after an hour. It seemed rushed but over all my questions were answered. The room was obnoxiously hot. I’m not sure who would think to have the blinds open in these Texas weather. I thought I was in a sauna.

Camilo Gonima MD earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He then completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
Every day, Dr. Gonima uses his training and experience to diagnose and treat various women’s health issues in the areas of obstetrics and gynecology.
Dr. Camilo Gonima is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In addition, he is also a fellow and a diplomate of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
With regard to professional organizations, Dr. Gonima is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, the Texas Medical Association and the Bexar County Medical Society. He offers da Vinci robotic surgery for most female pelvic conditions.
