I’ve been going there for over 20 years and was disappointed when Rosemary retired however, Dr. Carla has been absolutely amazing! She’s very detailed, thorough and understands any healthissues that I may have encountered Carla is absolutely amazing! She is very thorough and very knowledgeable. I would definitely refer all my family and friends.
Everyone in this office is absolutely loving and welcoming. They make you feel like you're wanted. I've been a patient for a very long time and I appreciate them. Carla is wonderful and never makes me feel rushed—she welcomes questions, which is very rare in today's world. Cindy is also a fantastic person and makes you feel welcome.
Carla was running behind by 20-23 min. I had a meeting to attend afterwards so the delay in being seen made me edgy. Carla is extremely friendly, professional and personable. It makes sense that patients want to keep talking to her. She makes you feel comfortable.

Carla Scalmato was wonderfully personable yet fully professional, making my annual well-woman exam comfortable and thorough, and the entire staff, from check-in to clinical support, was equally welcoming and efficient.
I was taken back to the exam room at my appointment time, which I appreciated. The first lady who met with me was very nice. Carla was amazing. Very calm, I felt like she was there for me during my time. She asked direct questions, she let me ask direct questions. She gave thoughtful answers. I was very happy with the visit.

She spent the following 10 years practicing Family Medicine seeing patients of all ages for wellness care, including women’s wellness care, and diagnosis/management of various chronic health conditions.
Caring for Women has always been a career long passion of Carla’s with the goal of educating and empowering women of all ages. She has a strong belief in disease prevention through health promotion activities and screenings. Carla provides wellness services, contraception/family planning, evaluation of pelvic pain, management of common female health problems, as well as hormone therapy for managing menopausal symptoms. Her focus is to partner with patients to achieve the highest level of health and well-being through compassionate, professional, and respectful care. Carla is happy to have joined the Comprehensive Women’s Healthcare Group and align herself with Providers and Staff who share her passion for excellence in women’s healthcare.
Outside of work, Carla enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren.
