Originally from Ghana, Dr. Banga relocated to the United States in 1997 to complete her undergraduate education. She received her undergraduate degree in biomedical science and zoology from the University of Oklahoma in 2002 before enrolling in the Oklahoma State University medical program. In 2007, she graduated with a doctorate in osteopathic medicine.
