Additionally, while pursing her advanced degree, she was an educator at the UAB School of Nursing in their BSN program as a graduate teaching assistant and a clinical instructor in the women’s department. Her DNP project focused on utilizing evidence-based tools to implement trauma-informed care into nursing practice to improve patient outcomes. She graduated with her doctorate in 2022 and became a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner. She has been working as a women’s health nurse practitioner in the DMV area for the last 2 years.
