Dr. McAden possesses that wonderful combination of warmth and professional assuredness that all physicians and surgeons should aspire to. I presented with a concern that I knew would be analyzed and handled as expeditiously as possible. Her assistant was just as capable who worked seamlessly with Dr. McAden. I was as comfortable with her and it felt like we were all a team, working together to pinpoint the issue. I appreciated Dr. McAden's forthrightness in explaining what my symptoms may indicate, offering positive solutions should diagnostic biopsies come back positive for cancer. The caring energy in that room was just what every patient needs to move forward when faced with the possibility of a medical challenge ahead. It is extremely comforting to know that I not only have Dr. McAden as my guide through this but the empathetic support of the staff.

Dr. McAden is thrilled to join our practice to continue to provide excellent care for the women of western North Carolina. When she is not caring for her patients, she spends time with her husband and two teenage children. Her hobbies include traveling, cooking, learning languages, putting miles on her Peloton, and cheering on the sidelines for all her kids' activities.
