Daphne Tamir,

uterine bleeding, PMOS, pelvic pain, endometriosis, and sexually transmitted
infections. Daphne performs a range of office procedures including
IUD and Nexplanon insertion and removal, colposcopy, endometrial biopsy, and
cervical cancer screening.
Daphne earned
her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from The
University of Texas Medical Branch School of Nursing and her Bachelor of
Science in Nursing from The University of Texas Health Science Center at
Houston School of Nursing. She has also completed specialized training in
colposcopy, further expanding her ability to care for patients with both
obstetric and gynecologic needs.
Before
becoming a nurse practitioner, Daphne developed a strong clinical
foundation in emergency nursing, including several years at Texas Children’s
Hospital’s Level I Trauma Pediatric Emergency Center. Throughout her career,
she has also enjoyed teaching and mentoring others, including precepting nurse
practitioner students and new nursing staff. Daphne is fluent in
Hebrew and is an active member of professional organizations including the
American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Practitioners in Women’s
Health.
Daphne grew
up as a dancer and competitive gymnast, and she continues to perform and
choreograph in local Austin shows. She has been an Orangetheory Fitness member
since 2015 and enjoys incorporating her passion for health, wellness, and
fitness into her approach to patient care.
She
and her husband recently moved back home to Austin and are so happy to be
raising their son surrounded by friends and family in this beautiful city.
