It was a 3 hour wait, that's the only reason for the 4 stars. Dr. Wang was great.
I really like Dr. Wang and appreciate her. She has a warm bedside manner, and she uses ultrasound during my annual for a thorough exam. The only thing I don't like is how difficult it is to see her on time. Actual time to see her takes almost two hours from the appointment time. I understand that she has emergency deliveries, but it seems to be that way for every appointment I've been to. Even her PA didn't see me in a timely manner. For my last visit, I liked her nurse (I asked for but forgot her name). She was incredibly efficient but also very nice. The time issue is the only thing that would keep me from referring her to friends. I haven't been to her for child delivery, just annual exams.

Best gynecologist ever! Very personable and professional.
It would have been 5 based solely on the time spent with Dr. Wang, but the wait time was unbelievable.
Overall experience was great but sometime the front recipient were not that friendly and were not that happy to assist on answering questions. Doctor was really upfront about procedures and treatment and suggested best ways of recovery.

The office staff was phenomenal and ensured I was able to get in to see Dr. Wang after it was discovered at my arrival that my appointment didn't get on the office's system after I called to schedule an appointment and was told that I had the appointment on the day and time the scheduler offered it and I agreed to take that timeframe. Dr. Wang is also a fantastic physician; she is very thorough in her office visits and knowledgeable.

Dr. Wang is a long time Austinite who went to Westlake High School, then stayed on to be a Texas Longhorn, graduating from the Plan II Honors program at the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Wang went on to study medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency with the UTMB Austin program, and was one of the first Ob/Gyn resident physicians in the nation to be trained on the Da Vinci Robotic Surgical System. Dr. Wang practiced as an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Southwestern Ob/Gyn residency in Austin where she was the Director of Skills and Simulation, and introduced Single Site Laparoscopic surgery into the program.
Dr. Wang was recognized with the 2011 National Faculty Award for Excellence in resident education presented by the UTSW Austin OB/GYN residency program, and is the 2009 recipient of the Arnold P. Gold Foundation Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award.
As a former dancer with Ballet Austin, Dr. Wang continues to perform and choreograph in her leisure. She is fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and Spanish.
