Diane Vista-Deck, MD

Dr. Vista-Deck graduated from the University of Michigan and Wayne State University School of Medicine. After residency, she joined the Obstetrics and Gynecology faculty where she spent many years teaching residents and increasing her patient base. She loves working at Hutzel Women’s Health Specialists and continues to be very active in resident teaching.

Dr. Vista-Deck decided to become a pediatrician at a very young age. As her medical career flourished, she realized that women’s health was her primary passion. Sharing the excitement of a pregnancy and the amazement of childbirth is a compelling reason to get up every day—and even in the middle of the night. She believes in empowering women of all ages to be proactive in their health. Her primary interests include routine and high risk obstetrics, adolescent gynecology, and perimenopausal/postmenopausal care.

When Dr. Vista-Deck isn’t seeing patients, she and her husband, Mike, can be found watching and participating in their children’s activities, including sports, dance, boating, skiing, and snowboarding. She dedicates one week each year to the poor of the Philippines, participating in a medical/surgical mission where she performs gynecologic surgeries and assists the general surgeons and plastic surgeons.
