Dr. Girard attended University of California, San Diego, where she received her undergraduate degree in 1997 and went on to earn her medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2001. After Dr. Girard completed her year-long internship at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, she was called to active naval duty for four years as a General Medical Officer. In 2009 Dr. Girard completed her three-year residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. Girard joined Thameside ObGyn Centre in October 2009.
