She completed her internship and residency at the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center in Charlottesville, VA. She then spent a year on the clinical faculty there in the ob/gyn department before returning to Norfolk to join WomanCare Center. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and a fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Golpira has a busy obstetric and gynecologic practice. She enjoys women’s health and caring for women of all ages. She has a special interest in adolescent gynecology. Like all of her partners, she performs minimally invasive surgical procedures and a variety of different office procedures.
Dr. Golpira and her husband stay busy with their three daughters. She enjoys running, skiing, cooking and traveling with her family.
