Dr. Slates is amazing. She takes the time to talk with you and to listen to your concerns. You don't find to many Dr's now a days that take the time to explain things to you let alone LISTEN to you! Her staff is just as amazing!

The doctor was professional, knowledgeable and supportive. She answered all of my questions with detail.
Beth was through in her questions and exam. She made sure I understood what problem I had Everything went very well and she was a great listener and gentle and informative. She prescribed medicine and told me to drink lots of water - which I understood and did. Since that visit I had a problem that others my age may experience when using antibiotics and drinking a lot of water. The following Monday I had to go to the ER because I was trying to avoid passing out at home, the room was spinning, and I called for help to keep from passing out. After juice and water I could sit, and then eventually stand up. Dr. Kelly from Ohio Health Pickerington told me that since I drank so much water I had flushed sodium out of body. My sodium level was below my level on her chart. I need to drink 1 or 2 packs of SkyMd electrolytes, hydration packs per day plus eat some salt in my foods to get my stores rebuilt. Unfortunately I still have a UTI and Dr. Kelly prescribed 7 days of amoxicillin to try to kill the bacteria. 2 of my senior lady friends have experienced a similar incident. I wanted to share this in case others might benefit from using electrolyte products when drinking lots of water with medications.
