Dr. Melnick always takes the time to listen to my concerns and expresses interest in my wellbeing. Dr. Melnick is a wonderful OB/GYN. I have appreciated his knowledge and expertise since I first met him at Kaiser Permanente in Rockville, MD. I was overjoyed when he started practicing in Virginia because I had struggled to find an OB/GYN that I trusted. I am 11 years out from my breast cancer diagnose. My provider at Hopkins said that I could transfer care back to a local doctor. I will transferring the care to Dr. Melnick.

Dr. Melnick earned his Doctor of Medicine from George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington DC. He then completed an OB/GYN Residency at the Medstar Washington Hospital Center.
After completing his residency, Dr. Melnick was an OB/GYN physician in private practice for six years in Fairfax, Virginia. He then moved to Montgomery County, Maryland, and was an OB/GYN physician with Kaiser Permanente for 25 years. In June 2019, Dr. Melnick moved back to Northern Virginia, joining Capital Women”s Care in Manassas, Virginia.
Dr. Melnick has performed thousands of obstetric deliveries and gynecological surgeries. He is board certified with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) and a Fellow in American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG).
Dr. Melnick is happily married with three grown children and two grandchildren. In his spare time, Dr. Melnick enjoys playing sports and spending time with his growing family.
