Gary Melnick, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified OB/GYN providing compassionate, warm care to patients at Capital Women’s Care in Fairfax, Manassas, and Haymarket, Virginia.
Dr. Melnick earned his Doctor of Medicine from George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington DC. He then completed an OB/GYN Residency at the Medstar Washington Hospital Center.
After completing his residency, Dr. Melnick was an OB/GYN physician in private practice for six years in Fairfax, Virginia. He then moved to Montgomery County, Maryland, and was an OB/GYN physician with Kaiser Permanente for 25 years. In June 2019, Dr. Melnick moved back to Northern Virginia, joining Capital Women”s Care in Manassas, Virginia.
Dr. Melnick has performed thousands of obstetric deliveries and gynecological surgeries. He is board certified with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) and a Fellow in American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG).
Dr. Melnick is happily married with three grown children and two grandchildren. In his spare time, Dr. Melnick enjoys playing sports and spending time with his growing family.
