Gene Freylikhman, MD, FACOG, is a graduate of Tufts University and St. George’s University School of Medicine. He completed his residency training at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, and is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Freylikhman has extensive training and expertise in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. In addition, he is highly experienced in procedures performed in the office including Endometrial Ablation for heavy or abnormal bleeding and hysteroscopic permanent birth control. Dr. Freylikhman has a special interest in the evaluation and treatment of pelvic pain, adolescent gynecology and contraception.

Dr. Freylikhman is dedicated to providing for the unique needs of women from adolescence to women in their 70s, 80s and beyond. He realizes that respect, compassion and sensitivity are required to provide excellent care in women’s health – for all of the stages of a women’s life.

Dr. Freylikhman has been a member of Women’s Health Connecticut since 2005 and joined Candlewood Center for Women’s Health in January 2016.
