Jane Allen, MD

Jane Allen, MD, moved to Loudoun County, Virginia, in 2002 and has been practicing as a Leesburg and Sterling women’s health physician with Capital Women’s Care since 2003. Dr. Allen graduated with distinction from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology. She then attended Loyola University of Chicago Medical School on a Navy scholarship. She completed a residency in OB/GYN at the University of Wisconsin.

After completing residency, Dr. Allen became an attending physician at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, and she maintained an assistant professor appointment at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda for several years. She was Loudoun Hospital Chairman of Ob/Gyn for 4 years, is board certified and was the winner of the Caduceus Award.

As an experienced OB/GYN for Leesburg and Sterling women, Dr. Allen believes quality care means personalized medicine for each patient. She enjoys getting to know her patients’ unique stories and helping them take charge of their health.
