Excellent skill and information with this doctor!
They take good care of you multiple tests too make sure your prescription is perfect! Only pain I felt was the ride home after my numbing drops wore off but after a little nap the next day I had 20-15 vision! It was worth every penny I recommend beach eye care for all your lasik needs

Originally from Manila in the Philippines, Dr. Alvarez received his medical degree from the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University (FIU); his undergraduate degree in biology was earned at the University of North Florida (UNF). He has conducted major research into age-related macular degeneration (ARMD) and other forms of age-related eye disease at the Krieger Eye Institute Retina Care Center and for the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) medical research Scholars Program. Dr. Alvarez comes to us ready and willing to help patients with Cataract Surgery and Laser Vision Correction (LASIK). He also provides comprehensive eye care which includes the monitoring of: Diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, glaucoma and dry eye. Dr. Alvarez is accepting new patients at our Kempsville (Kemps River) and Hilltop (First Colonial) Locations.
