The front desk staff called me by name when I came in to register, before I even said who I was! Dr. Zhang was very friendly, as usual, asked about my hip replacement in April, and she called an Axonics rep right after my appointment, to have them call me to answer questions she was unable to help me with.

Obstetrics and Gynecology provides me the unique privilege of caring for a woman throughout the most significant transitions in her life–from adolescence, through pregnancy and labor, and for years after, into menopause. I love that every day, I can partner with my patients to help them achieve their goals for the healthiest lifestyle and to offer help in treating complex gynecologic issues with medicines or the most minimally invasive surgical options. One of the most rewarding aspects of my practice is guiding a woman who has endured abnormal periods or struggled with pelvic pain through the many options of treatment to find a solution that is most suitable to her lifestyle and achieves her reproductive goals.
Having completed a fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, I am trained to offer minimally invasive options to women previously faced with more traditional surgical options that carry longer recovery or the risk of losing their fertility. My additional training in advanced pelvic surgery specializes in single-incision laparoscopy, advanced laparoscopy, and DaVinci robotic surgery, all of which allow women a shorter hospital stay and recovery, as well as less pain.
After living in New York most of my life, I recently moved with my husband (a native Minnesotan from Minnetonka) and daughter to Minnesota and am very excited to explore my new State. We love being outdoors and as avid downhill skiers, are looking forward to taking up cross country skiing and skating. Coming from a family of professional chefs and a foodie myself, I also always appreciate tips on new restaurants to try out or dishes to make.
