Jessica Helminen, RN, MSN, WHNP-BC

Jessica is a native of Morganton, NC and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati. She is board certified as a Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner. Jessica has memberships with Sigma Theta Tau, the North Carolina Nurses Association, and Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Jessica worked as a nurse on a GYN/ONC unit at UNC Women’s Hospital, which is where she developed her passion for caring for women. She has worked at Catawba Women’s Center since August 2015. Her clinical interests include contraceptive education and management, preconception counseling, management of abnormal uterine bleeding, and menopausal management. In her free time, Jessica enjoys traveling and exploring new cities, attending Zumba classes, and spending time with her husband, son, and Goldendoodle Murphy.
